Young man finds card with the same name as him at a party and goes viral: “In shock”

Biomedical doctor Rodrigo Schneider, 24, experienced a very unusual situation in a club in Vitória (ES), last weekend. He was dancing on the floor when he noticed a credit card lying on the floor. The young man then took the card, checked the name, saw that it was his and kept it in his wallet. However, when he got home, he was in for a surprise.

“When I got home and went to put my cards in my wallet, my card that I found at the club was already in my wallet. I stood looking at the two cards, trying to understand what happened. Then I realized that I had found another card with the same name, but it’s not mine,” said Rodrigo to metropolises.

In fact, the young man found another credit card that was almost identical to his, except for the branch and account numbers. The names of the holders of the cards are the same: “Rodrigo S. Ribeiro”.

On the day he went to the club, Rodrigo hadn’t taken his real card with him and he paid the bill using his cell phone.

Repercussion

The biomedical revealed the unusual situation on his Twitter account and the case had a lot of repercussions, with more than 4 million views and more than 95 thousand likes.

“I was kind of shocked because I didn’t imagine it would have all this repercussion. I always post everyday stuff on Twitter. I left for an hour and when I went to pick up my cell phone to look, I saw that notifications kept coming in”, added Rodrigo.
