Two men killed in Fox Hill shooting

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Police yesterday urged the public to come forward with any information that can help them find the suspects responsible for the latest double homicide in the Fox Hill community.

According to a statement, police were alerted of gunshots being discharged in the Fox Hill community via its Spot Shotter technology shortly after 9pm.

Responding officers found two men lying in the street unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot injuries.

“Initial reports confirmed, the first victim was standing on Brice Street, Fox Hill when he was accosted by two armed males who emerged from behind a building on the southern side of the street and opened fire on him,” the statement read.

“He attempted to flee west onto Fox Hill Road but was chased by the assailants who continued to discharge gunshots in his direction, resulting in him being shot multiple times about the body and collapsing in the street.”

According to police, the second victim was sitting nearby and was also shot multiple times about the body.

Both suspects reportedly fled the area and escaped in an unidentified vehicle.

Emergency Medical Technicians at the scene confirmed both men had no vital signs of life.
