The Civil Guard has arrested the pilot of a helicopter of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) who crashed when making an emergency landing this Sunday in the Madrid town of Robledo de Chavela, at test positive for cocaine and amphetamines.
Investigative sources have indicated to efe that the pilot is credited with a crime against air safety.
The event took place after 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, when a DGT Europter 355N fell at kilometer 2 of the M-512 highway.

After the accident, the Civil Guard carried out an alcohol and drug test on the pilot who, according to reports The Newspaper of Spain, You are on leave from a previous position. The test has come back positive, which has led to his arrest.
Both the pilot and his companion, who is an official and camera operator for the agency in charge of road control, were slightly injured after the emergency landing; but luckily there were no fatalities.
After initial medical assistance, they were transferred to the Puerta de Hierro hospital in Madrid.
