Information from the Atmospheric Monitoring System of Mexico City, indicates that the high pressure system that is located over the center of the country lost intensity gradually during the day, which led to a reduction in atmospheric stability and a higher wind speed, together with the entry of humidity from the Pacific towards the Valley of Mexico.
“The above, gave rise to the maximum ozone concentration reached at 6:00 p.m., outside 105 ppb, at the CCA-UNAM station, in the Coyoacán Mayor’s Office, which allows, in accordance with the Program, the suspension of the contingency”, indicated the CAMe.
Weather forecast models for tomorrow in the Valley of Mexico show that atmospheric conditions will be better for the dispersion of pollutants, compared to today.
