Steve Dahl (Full Name: Steven Robert Dahl) is a popular American radio personality who owns and operates the Steve Dahl Network, a subscription-based podcasting network. He rose to fame following planning and hosting Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park.
Formerly, Steve broadcast at Detroit stations WABX and WWWW and afterward at Chicago stations WCKG, WDAI, WLUP, WMVP, and WLS. He worked as a writer for the Chicago Tribune in their Live section as the resident “vice advisor” till November 2010. Steve is also recognized in Chicago due to his longstanding previous position as one half of the Steve & Garry team (alongside Garry Meier), and the duo is part of the National Radio Hall of Fame. He is regarded as an influential shock jock on talk radio.
