“I feared for my life,” acknowledged the 54-year-old former soccer player and star of the reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity’ at the ‘Daily Mail’.

“I can still eat what I want… but now I can only gobble down about four bites.”

In 2019 Neil Ruddock already had health problems, and they recommended that he lose weight over 30 kilos if he did not want to live at the risk of having a heart attack.

The famous James ‘Arg’ Argentwho underwent the same gastric sleeve operation, inspired Ruddock to go under the knife at Transform Hospital Group on September 8 to change his life.

“I can still eat what I want… but now I can only swallow about four bites. I get the same satisfaction because it fills me up. But I can’t drink fizzy drinks,” Ruddock explains of the outcome of the operation.
