Micah Richards Biography
Micah Richards (Full name: Micah Lincoln Richards) is a popular English former professional footballer sports pundit. As of now, he works for BBC Sports and Sky Sports. Furthermore, Micah is a club ambassador of Manchester City. He played as a right-back during his football career. Micah played in English Football League and Premier League for Aston Villa and Manchester City, and in Serie A for Fiorentina.
In November 2006, he made his England national team debut, becoming the youngest defender to be called up to the England team. Micah won 13 caps for England from 2006 to 2012. Moreover, he played in the Great Britain team for the Olympic football tournament in 2012. He kicked off his football career at Manchester City where he made 245 appearances across all competitions.
Micah won an FA Cup and a Premier League title. He moved to Aston Villa in 2015 after spending a season on loan at Fiorentina in Italy’s Serie A. Micah made 31 appearances for Villa until October 2016. He retired in July 2019 due to knee injuries.

In February 2009, he was arrested for the alleged attack of a man outside of a nightclub at around 12.30 am in Hale, Greater Manchester. Finally, the case was settled after the prosecutors chose to press no charges.
