She graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana Laguna with a communication degree. Gonzales began her career in 2002 when she entered a beauty pageant and won the Nuestra Belleza Mexico that year. She also went on to compete in Miss Universe in 2003. However, she was eliminated early in the tournament. She then decided to study acting at Televisa’s CEA and made her first appearance as an actress in the telenovela shows “Contra Viento y Marea” in 2015.
Marisol was then cast in a Televisa comedy called Vecinos, as well as a tertiary role in the RBD: La Family series. Her career took a turn in 2008 when she entered the field of journalism. She was first employed by a Mexican sports channel, where she hosted Super Bowl XLII and the Olympic Games in Beijing. Gonzales rose to prominence after being assigned as the lead presenter for the World Cup in South Africa. She then appeared in Super Bowl XLVI and the London Olympics. Marisol, on the other hand, opted to leave Televisa Deporters in 2019 for personal reasons.
