Julian Worricker Career
In 1985, Julian joined the BBC as a staff reporter for BBC Radio Leicester before becoming a TV presenter for Midlands Today in 1988. Worricker went back to Radio Leicester as News Editor in January 1989.
In 1991, He moved to Manchester to work for the newly launched station Radio Five, where he hosted the evening magazine show Five Aside. In addition, Julian joined Five Live in 1994 as a newsreader and reporter but quickly became a regular presenter on Weekend Breakfast before co-hosting Five Live Breakfast with Victoria Derbyshire.
He then relocated to the mid-morning show from July 2003 to July 2004, when he left to become a BBC News relief presenter. Julian has presented the BBC Radio 4 obituary program Last Word on several occasions.
