He then moved to San Fransisco where he worked under the tutelage of Chef Michael Mina at RN74 where he really started to find his footing. After some time, he became Sous Chef and later went on to work under new Executive Chef Adam Sobel.
Moreoever, the two launched a winning streak at Cochon 555 competitions, culminating in the top prize at Aspen’s Food & Wine Classic in June 2013. He began a rustic Italian sister-restaurant Cotogna, before spending three years at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant. He was trusted to manage the handmade pasta program at Quince under Chef Michael Tusk and simultaneously managed the market program.
