In 2010, Janet published her first travel book in Chinese, titled Traveling with 100 Toothbrushes. She has now released two more travel books, Backpack to the Future and Au for You. Janet’Fantasticic English and [email protected] are two of her English learning books.
Janet and her husband, George Young, co-wrote the book Starting at the End in 2016. The book recounts their sometimes contradictory stories about how they met, as well as their fifty-day journey via Texas, Argentina, and to their wedding in Antarctica.
Janet began playing the violin at the age of five and was a member of the Texas Young Virtuosos, who performed at the White House for President George W. Bush and in Europe. She gave three concerts in Taiwan’s National Concert Hall, twice in 2011 and once in 2013.
