A very intense first half, with many scoring options and with both teams looking for the rival goal. The visitors quickly went on top of the scoreboard taking advantage of the still ball. Atlético Huila woke up and quickly got the tie. At minute 11 and after a great play of association by the right side, Faber Gil sent a precise cross to the edge of the small area, where the striker appeared Gustavo Britos, who won the position for his brand and hit a powerful header that beat the rival goalkeeper.
Two minutes later came the second for the locals who got on top of the scoreboard with a great goal! Andrés Felipe Rivera attended Marcus Vinicius, who hooked avoiding a defender and from the left side sent a cross that took the direction of the goal and left goalkeeper Rogerio Caicedo static.
At minute 25 came the third for those led by Néstor Craviotto. After the central judge charged a free kick in three quarters of the field, Leonardo Escorcia asked for the ball and charged with a lot of power breaking the barrier and leaving the Boyacá Chicó goalkeeper without the possibility of a reaction.
With 20 minutes to go until the end of the commitment, the people of Boyacá discounted. Agustín Ignacio Aleo sent a cross down the left side that was connected by Frank Sebastián Lozano who, with a first-class shot, achieved the second for his team.
