Force cache refresh of a page

If you don’t need to clear a website’s cache, but just refresh to a newer version of the page, you can force that refresh using the following shortcut keys while browsing:

  • CTRL + F5 for Windows and Linux browsers;
  • Shift + click the “Refresh” button in Safari;
  • Command + Shift + R in Chrome and Firefox for macOS.

This option does not clear the cache for the entire site, it just refreshes the cache for the page or subdomain you are browsing.
