He met his wife, Monica, in Lansing who works the morning drive on WFMK News. The couple has been married for more than 30 years and they have three daughters together, Austin, Carson, and Payton.
He attended Steven’s Point University in Wisconsin studying parks and recreation. He then attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a master’s degree in Park Planning & Design.
