She studied musical dance and jazz at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Amsterdam after graduating from HAVO in Tegelen. She joined the Jazzcool dancing club at school and performed in several theatrical performances. She then appeared in several TV shows, including De Band, Meiden van De Wit, and Kinderen Geen Bezwaar. Janzen also serves as a presenter for the Dutch edition of Idols and Staatsloterij Live.
She has acted in a number of movies, including Kicks, Volle Maan, Alles is Liefde, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, and the television movie Loverboy. With the song “Achter De Sterren” in 2002, she made her vocal debut. In that same year, she also won the John Kraaijkamp Musical Award.
