Former black star player Asamoah Gyan has joined the live band at the funeral grounds of his friend and colleague Christian Atsu to perform.
Christian Atsu was laid to rest today as his funeral procession was underway at the forecourt of the State House.
Atsu’s burial procession saw the attendance of dignitaries, from the sitting president of Ghana, Atsu’s wife Marie Claire to A-list Ghanaian footballers like Asamoah Gyan.
At the grounds, Ghanaian former skipper Asamoah Gyan who was mostly emotional throughout the procession finally gathered his tears and vigor to join the live band at the grounds to perform.
Gyan is a notable performer, away from his football skills, he has on several occasions performs with his live band crew.
