Anthony Bernard Jones and Jailyn Reese arrested in connection to a shooting that injured a security guard outside Sage Woodfire Tavern Perimeter

Two individuals have been apprehended by the DeKalb County police for their involvement in a shooting that wounded a security guard outside a restaurant near Perimeter Mall in the previous month.

The incident took place on February 11th outside the Sage Woodfire Tavern Perimeter, which is located on Ashford Dunwoody Road, opposite the mall.

According to Dunwoody police, a pair attempted to flee without paying their bill, and when the security guard approached them, they opened fire, injuring the guard.

The security guard was struck three times in the arm and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Anthony Bernard Jones and Jailyn Reese, both from Atlanta, were identified as the suspects by investigators. Jones was apprehended by the DeKalb County Police Department on Friday.

He faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, discharging a firearm within 50 yards of a public highway, reckless conduct, and theft of services.

Jailyn Reese was arrested by the Dunwoody Police Department on Friday and has been charged with theft of services.

Both Jones and Reese are currently detained at the DeKalb County jail.
